... I'd advocate a third way, which I think is in keeping with the direction the quote is pointing: Can I get to a point where my response is to invite the other party to examine themselves? Something like, " that is interesting. Would you be willing to take a look at what's behind that desire...

Obviously, if there are extenuating circumstances, grace and mercy are called for. Especially if it’s out of character for them. But if this is par for the course in their behavior, I think it’s the duty of the spouse to call him/her out. How does a person grow if their spouse doesn’t say anything?...

I’m having trouble with the ‘cease to react at all.’ I guess it depends on the relationship. If it’s a person I’ve given up on ever trying to relate to, yes, not reacting (in other words, ignoring) is best. If it’s a person you are close with or need to have an ongoing relationship with such as a c...

Re: Videoing your sexual activities
While I think that it would be a nice turn-on, DW and I have determined that it is just a place we don't want to go. Just too much chance, in this electronic world, for something to go wrong. ... ...Wow, how things have changed in a year. We have now engaged in this, and found a good, high quality ...

I heard this quote and thought it could make for an interesting discussion on differentiation. "If you are willing to look at another person's behavior toward you as a reaction of the state of their relationship with themselves rather than a statement about your value as a person, then you will...

Re: 05/18/2022 - What are your favorite positive movies and television shows?
I am a sports movie fan so feel-good, overcoming sports movies like: MIRACLE…REMEMBER THE TITANS…THE BLIND SIDE…COACH CARTER…THE ROOKIE…42…HOOSIERS are just a few of the many I will watch again and again. I can’t think of well-done, positive tv shows now, only ones in the past when traditional value...

Re: Cervix During PIV
I don’t believe anyone has mentioned this…but when a woman is aroused, the cervix shifts and creates more space. So is intercourse being attempted without stimulation and arousal accomplished enough to elongate the cervix?

Re: 05/17/2022 - The first thing you think of after waking?
It could be one of several things…
- what time is it?
- is my wife naked?
- I don’t want to get up (especially if the answer is yes to the previous question).

Re: 05/16/2022 - Biggest Difference
I don't know if it's the biggest difference, .... like Meg Ryan's portrayal in "When Harry Met Sally." Not that I am an expert on sex scenes on the screen (Tv, movie, porn, etc) but I can't recall a portrayal of a woman enjoying sex yet is quiet.... can anyone else???? Great thought SC. O...
