Can one stop squirting?

Post by Computer nerd »

So a question I have question : Is it possible for a lady who squirts to stop squirting? I know people think this is great but it has destroyed our intimacy. We would rather not!

My wife used to squirt a lot, not as much now, but it never bothered us that much. I think she was a little embarrassed by it, but it never bothered me at all.

She still squirts some, not as much though.

Primary way to quit squirting is to urinate as soon before intercourse/orgasm as possible. She might also talk to her doctor about getting on medications to prevent bladder spasm, just a low dose, used about one hour prior to intercourse.

The question is she squirting urine or female ejaculate? If it is not urine, why would you want her to stop?

My wife goes to pee in the middle of our sessions, and squirts more than if she didn't pee. I believe that with an empty bladder, this allows more room for storage of female ejaculate. Plus she is relaxed and less likely to fight it. ADH (Anti-Diuretic Hormone or vasopressin) shuts down the kidneys during arousal, so if she pees after she gets aroused and stil squirts, you can be pretty sure it is not urine. With my wife, it is DEFINATELY not urine. It tastes divine. I love it when she gives me a mouthful. It feels different. More viscous than water.

And we did this experiment. I am very sensitive to asparagus-pee smell, and find it very offensive. Wife ate a lot of asparagus and her pee smelled. But her ejaculate had zero asparagus-pee smell. I have read of people donig similar experiments with methylene blue.

In case you didn't know this, urine is practically sterile. It isn't going to hurt you. There are few things more offensive than the smell of dark urine from a dehydrated person. If I let myself get dehydrated, I can smell it when I pee. But well-hydrated, clear urine does not smell much at all or taste that bad. If DW peed clear pee in my mouth, I doubt I would smell or taste it what with all of the other delightful smells and tastes from that area.

I might be pee in some cases. I don't think it always is. I was going to say 'most of the time' it is not, but I've only had sex with one woman, so how would I know.

Urine is sterile unless one has a UTI or something like that or it picks up some germs at the opening on the way out. The urethra germ thing is why they have you wipe before giving them the cup at the doctor's office. But urine is not harmless. Ammonia probably isn't going to grow germs and you can clean your bathroom with it, but it isn't safe to drink. Neither is urine.

I read about squirting in a sex book before I got married. A week or two in, I fingered my wife and she squirted. She was apologetic and embarrassed about getting it on me-- maybe even my face. I laughed it off and told her I was happy she was enjoying herself. We just use plastic mats, towels. Sometimes she feels pressure like she needs to release fluid and we will play to that end until she gets it out.

On rare occasion, we have sex, and she'll come back asking for seconds to get the fluid out if she didn't squirt enough. I thought about 'leaving her hanging' to see if she'd come back for seconds. She wouldn't go for that, but I wouldn't have the heart to do that to her unless she really wanted to anyway.

Once my wife said maybe some women get irritable because of not getting the fluid out and wondered if she should share that publicly. I told her please don't. I don't want her announcing publicly that she squirts. I suspect it is not uncommon, but a minority of women probably do it, and it is probably one of those areas where women's bodies vary a bit.

I went to a Walmart that sells cloth and bought plastic furniture cover material and cut a yard. I cut that into sex mats. We put a towel on top of that and put it under my wife. She can squirt, squirt, squirt away. Unless she isn't laying in the right place, the fluid stays on the mat.

She has rarely squirted during intercourse. I remember once doing her doggy over an unusually low sink and she squirted during intercourse. Otherwise, it's pretty much always when I finger her. If we did lots of positions standing over carpet or something like that, it be an issue.

What's the problem with squirting? Squirting is fun? Embrace the squirt.

Regardless of the taste, it is urine. Medical studies have shown it is urine. Women do not sequester secretions from the "sex" glands; there is not structure in the female tissues where glandular secretions can be stored. The sexual tissues can produce these apocrine secretions quickly, but they cannot be stored. Without a cystic gland to accumulate the secretions, there cannot be "squirting."
I'm not sure why so many people just don't want to accept the fact that they are urinating on themselves and their partner.

"Conclusions: The present data based on ultrasonographic bladder monitoring and biochemical analyses indicate that squirting is essentially the involuntary emission of urine during sexual activity, although a marginal contribution of prostatic secretions to the emitted fluid often exists."

Well, I don't know what to tell you. I know what all the literature says. No doubt some women do pee during sex. But I also know what we experience. If I thought my wife were giving me a mouthful of pee in the throes of passion, and it tastes OK, fine, I would admit that and not have a problem with it. It isn't going to hurt me.

Here are some ideas about what might be going on. My wife makes a tablespoon if I am lucky. MAYBE her body can make that much "prostatic secretions." Or maybe it is pee mixed with "prostatic secretions," and the secretions aren't as "marginal" as the study that MrMarried's NIH references says. That still wouldn't explain the asparagus experiment, though.

My wife makes a tablespoon. But I have spoken with female friends who I trust absolutely, who say they make maybe a quarter-cup. They say it doesn't feel, taste, or smell like urine. They pee a few minutes before squirting. It doesn't seem that they couldn't make that much urine in that time, even if there is nothing to the claim that ADH reduces urine production during arousal.

There is just too much anecdotal evidence. Something we don't yet understand is going on. It is wise to keep an open mind here. Does the medical community yet accept the existence of the G-spot or pheromones? Wasn't it within the last few years that the actual extent of the internal clitoris was discovered using PET scan or MRI or some relatively new imaging technology?

My best guess is that Skene's fluid is stored in the bladder until orgasm. The NIH study doesn't say how much time elapsed since they urinated. If they didn't interrupt the sex act and it was an hour or more like it can take my wife, then yeah, it seems there could be a good bit of urine produced in that time, ADH or not.

My curiosity aside, if it turns out I am drinking pee, fine. I don't care. I don't want her to stop experiencing those orgasms. And I will continue to enjoy it no matter what it is.

BTW, squirting was something my wife learned to do. It started with G-spot stimulation. It was uncomfortable the first few sessions, but got to be pleasurable for her, eventually resulting in multiple orgasms and squirting.

Check out this study that I saw while reading the other one mentioned. It is indeed interesting.
