10/1/2026 - knowing your spouse

Post by Plumpurple »

What's one thing you do for your spouse that shows how well you know them?
What's something your spouse does for you that makes you feel known and seen?

This would freak an American’s tastebuds out.
This American loves it. First had it at age 30ish at, of all places, and Easter brunch pot luck.

I could buy it in Texas, but not here. I may have to go order some from Amazon.

ETA: Or not – almost $3 an ounce! Marmite half that, but still.

Physical touch or showing affection.... that's something I had to learn and be intentional in doing.

He listens to me and understands me like few do. In that, he is supportive and encouraging.
God can change what people do, behavioral patterns that have been in play for decades. He can change what we do to cope, to find comfort, to survive conflict, to count. Rahab had done a same old thing for years... and then she did something new.

I grew up with Marmite. Vegemite is a bit salty! Perhaps that’s why I like it. 😉 even in Australia it’s not very cheap but it lasts and lasts. Cost of living!! You don’t spread it thickly so of course it will last.

How come? No garden or permanent rain?
