09/13/2021 - Jewelry?

Post by Link+Zelda »

Do you and/or your spouse frequently wear jewelry?

If so, what type(s)?

If not, why not?

We both wear wedding rings and watches, daily. I (hubby) HATE jewelry, so I take both of mine off as soon as I get home. I love my wife wearing jewelry, so she will wear a ring, or two, other than her wedding set. Also necklace, earrings. Sometimes a bracelet. Often anklet (for me) and sometimes toe rings. I love for her to keep these on for/during our times of sexual play, so she does this for my enjoyment, as well.

I only wear my wedding band.

DW wears her wedding band and when going out somewhere nice will put on her engagement ring/wedding band set. She also has a variety of necklaces, ear rings, Pandora charms, etc.

I don't do jewelry, other than a watch.

Never liked anything about it. The look, the feel, nothing.

I particularly don't like rings as I personally know several guys who have lost
fingers from doing mechanical or construction work while wearing them.

I never wore a ring during my first marriage. This has become a bit of an issue
with the future Mrs. as she really wants me to wear a wedding band. I'll probably
go along to make her happy.

You can get a silicone ring these days that should remove the potential complications that metal rings can cause with construction. Maybe that won't be enough to satisfy your fiancé, but it may be worth discussing.

Believe me, when I related above that I, realizing that I wasn't doing the type of work anymore where my ring posed a risk, put my wedding band back on, I made one little woman very, very happy.

My work strongly advises against metal finger rings, so I haven't worn my gold wedding band in close to 30 years. I've contemplated getting a silicone one, but I really don't like the feel of something on my finger or hand. For the same reason, I haven't worn a watch since my early 20's.

My DW is allergic to some metals, so she can't wear finger rings, toe rings, ear rings, bracelets, ..... so she only wears a necklace when it can be paired with a top that keeps it off her skin. I don't have to purchase expensive bling, but I do miss seeing some items. They can be classy and/or sexy. Oh well..

Simple answer, yes. Wedding rings and Mrs. Oldbear always wears stud earrings and a necklace.

Dh wears just his wedding band.

I wear my wedding band, engagement ring and several other rings. I also have two holes in each ear that I have earrings in. I'll also wear a toe ring in the summer. I've never been one for necklaces regularly. I have some but I don't really care for the sensation of something around my neck.
