Discontinued vibrator

Post by OT2R »

Many years ago, maybe 10 years, I finally started to use vibrators into our MB. I found a bullet/g-spot combo (2 separate wired attachment) vibrator made by California Exotics (I believe they’re now called CalExotics). It was GREAT! I mostly used the g-spot attachment but used it on my clitoris. It had a wired remote with 12 different patterns and 12 intensities! It was awesome! DH would take control of the remote so that he could participate in my orgasm. I would orgasm pretty much 100% of the time.
Well the g spot attachment died so I started to use the bullet attachment. It just wasn’t the same.

I’m trying to find the same item and I’ve scoured the web but it seems like that item has been discontinued.

While it doesn’t have to be the EXACT same item, I’m looking for a more rumbley (vs buzzy) bullet or a small gspot. I’d like a few patterns but I really want multiple levels of intensity.
Anyone have one like that that they like or have tried?

Over the past couple months I’ve bought a few wands (various sizes) and air pulse clit vibrator. They either have one level and different patterns and the right size or they have different patterns/intensities but are too big.

I think my original one that died was about $20! It was a great investment! :D

Yep. It’s hard when a “dear friend” passes away. I know when “Pinky” goes in our house, not sure what my DW is gonna do. “Pinky” was a cheap dual action, rabbit style we got from Married Dance.

It’s amusing how we name our items. I called mine the purple pill (only because it was purple, it didn’t look like a pill). The bullet however is silver and for some reason we haven’t called it the Silver bullet yet. Maybe because it lacks the power that a silver bullet should have.

Lesson learned though, if I find my equivalent to my purple pill and it’s also cheap, I’m buying 2 or 3 to last the rest of my life!

So there's not really anything special about an internal/G-Spot vibrator in terms of vibration strength, focus, or rumbliness. In your case, the internal vibrator component was just a better match for your clit in those three areas than the actual clit vibrator was.

So my suggestion, if you can't find the original item, is to find a modern clitoral vibrator that you think might best match your needs. you already know you want "rumbly", so you just need to find one that has the right intensity (sounds pretty strong) and focus/broadness. For instance, my wife find the clit suckers as too focused (and can't O at all from it), while she finds the Magic Wand as too broad (can O from it, but she's left numb with kind of a beat-up sensation the next day).

Quite a few bullet and bullet-like clitoral vibes should fit the bill for that. If price weren't an issue, I'd suggest the We-Vibe Touch X or Tango X, but both of those are premium vibrators commanding a premium price. If you need to shop around more generally, just pull up Married Dance's vibrator page with your husband and look through all the options. Doing that can actually be a form of foreplay!

My wife is similar to you. The clit suckers don't work for her, and she's never O'd without a vibe. But we get a pretty much 100% O rate thanks to the Touch/Touch X mentioned above. It, the Tango, and many similar vibes have worked quite well for a lot of women out there. High-quality clitoral vibes do seem to be cheaper than high-quality G-Spot vibes, so looking at the clit ones might be a good starting point.

I’ll need to pay more attention. I never saw the correlation between the difference in quality with clit vs gspot. Thanks for the tip!
