I cringe when people shout "Jesus Christ!" in anger - it's used as a swear word, yet it's perfectly acceptable to shout his name in worship. So maybe slang for sexual acts and anatomy might not really be "swearing" when used in the bedroom, only out of the bedroom n inappropriate situations?

Maybe this would be helpful, or at least a good place to start on what God truly says "no" to.... viewtopic.php?p=74647#p74647 (2nd post down, by me.)buck22 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 24, 2023 1:51 pm I don’t know if I can prove it biblically, I just don’t truly know what the term sexual immoral covers I know it’s homosexuality and adultery but what else it might mean scares me, I wish I new for certain that I had the freedom to use toys because we really have enjoyed them.
God can change what people do, behavioral patterns that have been in play for decades. He can change what we do to cope, to find comfort, to survive conflict, to count. Rahab had done a same old thing for years... and then she did something new.

I get this, it's hard to allow yourself to say things that were always a "No, that's wrong." Context, intent, and heart is what deems something like our words, appropriate/right, or not.sayayo7565 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 24, 2023 2:51 pm I cringe when people shout "Jesus Christ!" in anger - it's used as a swear word, yet it's perfectly acceptable to shout his name in worship. Thank you I appreciate this I like what Julie Slattery and Linda Dillow have to say, it is a battle I’ve dealt with for yearsSeekingChange wrote: ↑Fri Feb 24, 2023 3:04 pmMaybe this would be helpful, or at least a good place to start on what God truly says "no" to.... viewtopic.php?p=74647#p74647 (2nd post down, by me.)buck22 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 24, 2023 1:51 pm I don’t know if I can prove it biblically, I just don’t truly know what the term sexual immoral covers I know it’s homosexuality and adultery but what else it might mean scares me, I wish I new for certain that I had the freedom to use toys because we really have enjoyed them.

I think its what is in your heart that matters for instance if your DW wears a penis sized strap on for giving you anal what are you fantasizing about?I use a prostate massager for health and pleasure. The last thing on my mind is gay sex which is a hurdle DW has gotten past.

Honestly, I just do what feels right in the moment.
The main purpose of life is to live it with the man I love, and to raise our son or daughter in the love and mercy of the Lord.
