Erection consistency... supplement ideas?

Post by morethannot »

I'm into my 50s and am noting my erections are not what they used to be, and not what I would like them to be. Both actual strength and consistency of strength are issues.

- I know this is a natural result of age, but even still I think there is room for improvement
- I am overweight and am tackling that issue and expect that will help some
- My libido is in good shape. I'm having no issues with desire

Otherwise, is anyone out there in TMB land using an erection enhancement with any success? I'm open to prescription remedies, natural supplements, and home remedies.

Thanks for the help!

I would try generic viagra or cialis.I like cialis because the effect lasts at least 2 days and personally speaking I don't get the stuffy nose as with viagra.I also use citralline which seems to have a synergistic effect. If you are both open to the idea prostate massage is something you could explore which for many men has a positive benefit for BPH issues as well.

L-Citrulline Malate - I get mine from Swanson's and I notice a difference when I'm taking it. It produces nitric oxide which is necessary for an erection.

Pygeum - It's widely used in Europe for a healthy prostate. It increases precum and maybe the size of ejaculate. May also help with ED.

Cialis works better for me than Viagra but I sometimes combine small doses of both. 10mg of Cialis with 25mg of Viagra.

I have found Citrullline along with generic Cialis works really well!

Pygeum, didn't do a thing for me and I bought what was supposed to be the best brand.

I have done the 10mg Cialis and 25 mg of Viagra, wow! Hard as a rock.

My doctor prescribed Sildenafil for me which had overall helped. I’ve gotten it filled by regular pharmacy so my insurance pays on it but then get it through HIMS website as well snd pay full price there. That way I have a good stash.

Here's what works for me, in order of effectiveness:

1. Testosterone! Get your levels checked and get your testosterone and estradiol optimized.

2. Progesterone cream, 1/3 of a woman's dose.

3. L-Citrulline. L-Citrulline Malate is recommended, but it is SO SOUR. Pure L-Citrulline works fine for me. 6 grams per day.

4. 25 mg (a low dose) of sildenafil. Works particularly well in conjunction with L-Citrulline.

5. Zinc, boron, selenium, and a good multivitamin.
