Signs of pregnancy after a week

Is it possible for your wife yo have early morning signs of pregnancy only a week after intimacy with her?

The fertilized egg doesn't implant in the uterus for 5 - 12 days after ovulation. It's possible to experience a small amount of bleeding when that happens, although implantation bleeding doesn't show every time. You won't typically experience symptoms until that point. It's possible to have symptoms that early, but in my experience it's more likely the result of wishful thinking and being hyper focused on every little thing that happens in the body. Every twinge makes you think you're pregnant.

Understandable. We’ve pretty much given up on a baby. But she told me this morning that she felt sick like she was going to throw up. It’s been seven days since that intimate time I’m speaking about. I’m not sure she was even thinking baby

Unlikely but not impossible.
For my wife the first physiological sign of pregnancy was a sudden overwhelming hypersensitivity to smells that started about the time her period was due, so about two weeks after conceiving.
However she says with our second baby she knew immediately after our lovemaking that she had got pregnant. I believe her because she has always been very much in tune with her body.

I didn’t really notice anything different until I was “late”. So far, my “symptoms” have been:
1) Feeling more tired than usual.
2) Morning sickness halfway through the second month.
3) More sensitivity.

we found out about my second daughter at urgent care because my wife had severe nausea. She was not really late by that time. They did a pregnancy test and happily that was the cause of illness instead of some rare tropical flesheating disease.

So yes, I think it is possible but not likely.
