Relaxation is just as important, if not more so. A biofeedback monitor can help her practice and know when she is relaxing and not contracting. Some muscles can learn a permanent state of contraction in any part of the body and cause problems. They need to be retrained.

We have ordered a set of Dillators to stretch the Vaginal muscles.

We can now comfortably get one finger in but it is still very painful, we only try straight after my DW climaxes.

For any one who has used the dilators how long did it take to be successful?
Took us quite a few weeks, as I recall, and my wife didn't have as much tightness as yours. We could do full PIV sex from the start, but it was uncomfortable at best and painful at worst for her. I would anticipate a couple months to get her fully adjusted, though I imagine the timeline depends on frequency and consistency of using the dilators. Patience is the key, diligence with using them, and recognizing that it will definitely get better with time.

If pain continues too long, it will have a very negative effect on your sex life. Don't let that happen!

As great as intercourse is, there are other ways to enjoy each other. My suggestion is to focus on giving each other pleasure by hand or mouth for awhile, then circle back around to penetration.
