Tag Users In A Post

By request, we have added the ability to tag a user when you write a post. Type @ and start typing the username. A dropdown list will show. Click the user you want to tag. The user will show in read, like Gandalf does on this post, and they will get a notification they were tagged.

I would appreciate someone on a recent iPhone using Safari to verify this works for them. It didn't, and I don't know if Apple has updated their list of accepted Java scripts to fix it.

Well that's unfortunate. And it didn't work just putting it in as you did. Popup blocker maybe? It uses the user number in the code, so no easy workaround.

The code is like this:

If you hover over a username, the last bit of the URL is U=XXXX. That is the number you want.
