Making Married Dance Links Affiliated With TMB

As many of you are aware, using the Married Dance "shopping link" at the bottom of the page when making a purchase will get the TMB site a small affiliate payment, helping to pay for the operation of this site.

What you may not know is that you can add that affiliate info into any Married Dance link you create in your posts. To do so, simply add "?aff=36&campaign=tmb-forum" at the end of any Married Dance link you type. For instance, a link to the Magic Wand will started with "https://" followed by (1) the rest of the address if unaffiliated, or (2) this address if affiliated:

1. marrieddance.com/shop/vibrators/body-massagers/magic-wand-original/
2. marrieddance.com/shop/vibrators/body-massagers/magic-wand-original/?aff=36&campaign=tmb-forum

(Clearly, if these links were real, I'd included the "https://" and make the URL an active hotlink. So go buy the affiliated Magic Wand here.)

Moderators will do their best to add in the affiliate information, but it's a lot easier for the posters themselves to add it in. Overall, this is an excellent passive way to support TMB.

One final note--on the Married Dance site, if you click a link or navigate to a specific product, you will notice the affiliate code in the URL disappears. This is completely normal. Once on their site, the affiliate information is saved in a cookie rather than being in the URL itself.

Heads up the Paul has updated the affiliate-link code so that he can tell the difference between links from this forum vs. other sites. Essentially, this allows him to tell which affiliate purchases come from here as opposed to the Byerly's other sites. The new code to go at the end of an URL is "?aff=36&campaign=tmb-forum" (don't include the quotation marks). The link at the bottom of this site has been updated already.
