I remember briefly looking at raw porn in a magazine when I was about 34. I think I saw Playboy level if that is porn probably well before that.

One thing I find odd or creepy about some comments here is some people said they found their dad's stash of porn. Dad's kept porn in the house for the kids to find? I don't think my dad ever kept porn in the house. My mom did keep sex story books in the house, but no pics etc.

I think in the 70's having Playboy or Playgirls magazines hidden in the house was not unusual. What was odd to me was some of my friend's parents had these stored in with their other magazines without much of an attempt to keep them hidden.

I don’t think dads specifically wanted their kids to find their porn magazines, but believe me, kids have an amazing ability to find the very things you want to hide from them.

Not my dad... but an uncle sent me to a cupboard in his bedroom to get a bag of lollies, when I was 8-9 years old . They were sitting on top of his stash of magazines, the top magazine was open to a graphic page that I can still remember, 40 years later.

I was 11 or 12 when he first used them as part of his sexual abuse, and made me replicate images of female pin-ups, and instant photos taken for his future pleasure.
Other explicit magazines and images were also kept for 'my benefit'.

I would have been around that age of 10, and as OldBear said I also can remember that confused feeling of good and bad. Along with so many other things it can be addictive. I have often wondered what my life would have been like without it.
