What is Okay for a single person?

Where are the limits? What’s “okay” but dangerous?

Serious question: Is masturbation a part of our sexuality?

I think of sex as something that requires another person. I find comparing masturbation to sex sort of insulting. Yeah, it uses the same body parts, and it produces a similar physical reflex reaction, but is that enough to say they are the same? We know the two are not the same in terms of how our bodies and brains react. What happens with mastubation is a subset of what happens when we have sex. And in my mind, it's missing most of the important parts.

To me it's like comparing a glucose IV with a fine meal shared with a friend.

That's a good articulation of it
