Is the headship/submission dynamic a long term problem for most marriages?

2pak writes a lot about how women need safety in a relationship. These are interesting examples to me of how different people need different things to feel safe. What makes your wife feel safe in the top example would make my wife feel threatened.

I do write about it but the actual safety mechanics are probably the one thing in my 'theories' that I haven't fully nailed down (although I'm much closer than where I used to be). I have lots of thoughts on this but Im not fully there yet to be able to articulate them or if they are correct. I know what doesn't create it long term, that is for sure.
But yes, one woman's safety is another's threat although they both need safety.
