I don't want to repeat today...

That moment I got the phone call at work and heard our son has been involved in a heavy combination truck-rollover... (Big truck/trailer combination)
And then the moment I heard he is okay...
And then the moment I heard they were concerned about concussion and his spine... needing a full head and spine CAT scan.
And then the moment I heard he has been discharged from hospital with only stitches... physically fine but a bit sorer than he was when he left for work this morning.

Those moments did not rank today as a favourite day.
Today has been an emotional roller coaster.

Being the parent of a newborn or adult never changes the strong emotions for their well being physically, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. Praise the Lord that physically he is doing far better than your roller coaster of a day. Praying now for his emotional healing - and yours, too!
