We are all creatures with free wills, when it comes to human relationships, and more than 1 person is involved, God doesn’t force our behavior or attitudes. If one spouse is determined to not honor vows or commitment, there is never a guarantee that they will ever change, I don’t care what we do or what our attitude is or how close to God our commitment is.

So, I assume there are many women out there, that no matter how well their husbands treat them, are also selfish. "I'm not in the mood so it's something we won't do."

What if a husband said that to their wife when she wanted to rearrange the living room together? Or go on a drive through the country this weekend? It's a selfish attitude to have, whether it relates to the bedroom or not.
I am a beliver in 'needs motivate behavior.' I like to look deeper into how people (marriages) get into these very common scenarios. I don't think most women, or men, just 'get selfish' and uncaring toward a spouse.

If it's a lack of respect or other feelings... or attraction, not wanting to get to a place to meet the others needs may be due to selfishness. Selfishness may be at the root of most marital problems.
